I have been reading the blogs of my fellow Ohio bicycle racers for some time and thought it's time I join in the fun.
I will tell you right up front, my training schedule is very demanding which may
prevent me from posting on a daily basis like many other less serious riders do, but I promise to provide a fresh look at the world of bicycle racing in Ohio and the
surrounding states.
For all of you out there that know me, enjoy this blog and the rare opportunity that it provides you to get insight on how to train and race like a PRO!

Welcome fellow racer!! I'm also very dedicated to this sport and have hopes of turning pro someday. I'm confident that if I follow a very disiplined training plan I'll be there soon. My daughter thinks I'm crazy but I know age is just a number. I have experienced many adventures already and will share some if I can get time away from training to write. That's all for now - my rollers call;)
Nice to meet you Spoken One! Age IS just a number and really, most numbers are meaningless. I have been racing for a short time compared to most of the others around me but I am sure I can get to the level I want in a short time. How hard can it really be to bridge the gap to the pro level?
Are you in Ohio as well?
Yo AP - Yes for right now I'm in Ohio. I have an extensive training camp coming up in January that will keep me south until March 1st. It's a tough time for both training and time away from my family - but well worth it. Between now and then I hope to learn more about "heart rate zones" so I'll keep you posted of any revalations I discover. Maybe you can post another blog entry about your training secrets and spread some teachings to us all.
